Library's Little Gardeners




This is an all-weather (rain, hail or shine) hands-on  programme designed to show children the joys of planting and nurturing  plants for food and pleasure, the life cycle of plants and the importance of weeding.

Drop in after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm - 5pm during the school terms to help tend our ‘Library's Little Garden’.  

Gardening equipment is provided. You just need to bring your gumboots (or wear closed in shoes), drink bottle and a hat.

Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver over 16.

No need to register.

Duration: 1hr and 30mins

AGES: 5+ 

Frequency: Weekly – Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm - 5pm (during school terms)
