25 March 2020:
Together we can slow the spread.
We appreciate that in these uncertain times, people can feel helpless and vulnerable. While we cannot leave our homes to work, go to school or socialise, there are ways that we can help one another.
Are you home alone, need groceries, just need to chat?
If you don’t have friends or family close to help out, the Manawatū District Council (MDC) might be able to help.
MDC are compiling a database to be used to help keep us all connected and to ensure those that need help get what they need.
Complete the short Covid-19 Support Request form or call our Customer Service team on 06 323 0000.We’ll work with our partner agencies to help you get the support you need.
21 March 2020:
Due to the nationwide spread of Covid-19, Manawatu District Council have decided to close the Feilding Library as of Saturday 21 March at 4pm to help minimise the risk associated with the pandemic.
At this stage, we are closing the library until further notice. This will be evaluated as the days go by, and we will update you on this website and social media (Facebook) of any changes.
In the meantime - you can continue to use the items you have at home and have access to our digital library by clicking here. We are working on extending the number of times you can renew your books from 2 to 6. And overdue fines will be forgiven for items due within the closure period.
The return slots will be cleared as and when possible.
